These terms and conditions govern your purchases from, and your use of, the www.caiacosmetics.com website. By placing an order on www.caiacosmetics.com you agree to the current terms and conditions stated below and certify that all information you will and have submitted about yourself is correct. These terms and conditions forms a contract between you and Beauty Icons AB, company registration number 559153–2493, Box 5865, 102 40 Stockholm (hereinafter ”Caia”, ”we” or ”us”), why we kindly ask you to read through these terms and conditions before using our website.
CONCLUSION OF AGREEMENT
This website is addressed to you as an individual (consumer), of legal age in your country.
Once you have completed your order, an electronic confirmation/invoice will be sent to the email address you have entered in when placing your order. It is therefore important that you enter the correct email address when placing your order. In the confirmation you will find all information about your products such as name and price, as well as billing- and delivery address. We recommend that you save the confirmation in order to facilitate any contact with our customer service. If you have not received the confirmation, or if something is wrong with the confirmation received, please contact our customer service immediately.
The order confirmation (receipt) also serves as guarantee of proof of purchase.
PRICES AND PAYMENTS
All prices shown on www.caiacosmetics.com are including VAT (unless otherwise specified or selected by the customer), in accordance with applicable legislation. The prices do not include any delivery charges, which may vary depending on the selected shipping option. The current prices are shown on the website next to the product. In the event that the presented price is clearly incorrect, Caia is not obliged to offer the lower incorrect price. It is not possible to combine any discount codes with other campaigns or offers, unless otherwise specifically stated on the website.
In case an order will be shipped to a delivery address outside of the EU, import duties and taxes may be added, which will be charged when the shipment reaches your delivery address. You are responsible for the payment of such import duties and taxes. In order to make sure what kind of import duties and/or taxes that may apply to an order, we recommend that you contact your local custom office for further information.
Caia reserves the right to change or correct prices on all orders, as well as final sales. If a price is incorrect, this may cause Caia to cancel the purchase and refund the amount paid in the best possible way. This can be done at any time at the initiative of Caia.
Ordering and paying via www.caiacosmetics.com is safe and easy. You can choose between paying by bank- and credit card, invoice, partial payment or CAIA gift card. Which payment options that are available to you and the country that you are ordering from are presented when placing the order. Payments can be made both before and after delivery, entirely according to the customer's wishes and the payment options presented in the checkout. Caia reserves the right, from time to time, to add, remove or change among the payment options presented on the website. All products remain in Caia’s property until full payment is made.
DELIVERY
Caia takes the utmost care in receiving and handling orders and always strives to deliver your order in accordance with the delivery option you have chosen. Our normal delivery times are 2-10 working days depending on the selected shipping option. Orders placed on weekends are shipped the following Monday at the earliest. If delays in delivery should occur, without us notifying you of a longer delivery time, please contact our customer service. If, in the event of such a delay, you are no longer interested in completing the purchase, it is your responsibility to cancel the order. In cases where the shipment has already been sent, the customer is required to receive the order. A cancellation is therefore not valid until a confirmation is received from Caia via email or telephone.
At Caia’s website you can choose between different delivery options. Caia reserves the right to update these delivery options, and all shipping costs related thereto. It is important that correct and valid delivery information is provided at the time of ordering. If Caia gets back a package that was sent to the wrong address or which was never collected, it is up to you as a customer to pay for new shipping. This as long as the responsibility for the unclaimed package doesn’t rest with Caia and/or the chosen shipping provider. For orders that have not been collected in time, Caia charges an administrative fee of EUR 25.
If any of the products you have ordered are not in stock when your order is to be packed, only the products that are in stock will be delivered to you. In such a situation, the order will be updated, and in addition reimbursed according to what was potentially paid by you as a customer when the order was placed. If you were not charged for shipping costs when the order was placed, you will not be charged for shipping costs when the order is updated.
In the event that you receive a damaged or opened box upon delivery, please notify your pickup point or selected shipping company immediately.
LIABILITY
Caia’s liability for failure of the delivery of the products are limited to the applicable delivery conditions of sale. Caia’s liability to you for any loss or damages arising in connection with your order on our website is limited to the total amount of your order, unless otherwise stipulated in mandatory law. Caia is not responsible for any indirect losses which are a side effect of the main loss or damage, for example loss of profits or loss of opportunity; or for failure to deliver the goods or to meet any of Caia’s other obligations under these terms and conditions where such failure is due to an event that is beyond Caia’s reasonable control.
FORCE MAJEURE
Caia is not obliged to complete a purchase if there are obstacles beyond Caia's control. Such circumstances include, for example, government intervention, new/amended legislation, war, fires, floods, work interruptions, bans, restrictions, sabotage, poor transport and weather conditions, non-delivery from suppliers or that Caia or its partners would be exposed to criminal operation. In addition to the above, Caia do not take any responsibility for any changes to products/product characteristics that have been changed by any supplier, outside of Caia's decision-making or control.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Caia has the right to adjust prices, add additional costs, make changes to product range and related information without notice. Caia does its utmost to provide you as a customer with as accurate product information as possible to give a true-to-life picture of the products. Regardless of that, we always recommend that you as a customer, despite our constant efforts to ensure that all content displayed on this website is correct, double check the product information and list of contents on the packaging when you receive your delivery.
Please note that the product- and packaging images presented on this website may vary in appearance. Caia cannot guarantee that all product images accurately reflect the true appearance of the products, which is why all product images shall be seen as illustrations. Please note that the product images may vary depending on the monitor, photo quality, resolution and color setting.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
You as a customer always have the right to cancel your order within 30 days from the date you receive the order you have purchased from us. Please note that you are responsible for checking that the products are undamaged when receiving your package. The products must be returned in unopened packaging and in otherwise unused and undamaged condition. Opened and/or used products cannot be returned due to health and hygiene reasons.
If you wish to cancel your purchase, please notify us in writing by contacting our customer service. It is important that the 30-day return period is respected when exercising the right of withdrawal. The return shipping cost are paid by you as a customer.

The processing of returns typically takes between 1-3 weeks. Please remember to send your return with trackable function and save the receipt for your return in order to secure that Caia compensate you for your return even in cases where the package is getting lost during the return delivery to us.
Upon Caia’s receipt of the package, Caia will issue a refund, preferably to the same payment method you used at the time of ordering (or, if payment has not yet been made for the products in question, ensure that the refund is reflected in your account balance). Refunds will be made as soon as possible after Caias receipt of the products, provided that all products returned are in the same condition as they were in when delivered to you. Caia reserves the right to make depreciation deductions in cases where the products have been handled to a greater extent than necessary. Potential depreciation deduction is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
For any returns made after the 30-day return period, Caia reserves the right to refund you via digital credit card, at Caia’s sole discretion.
COMPLAINTS
According to applicable consumer legislation all products must be free from defects. Caia guarantees that each shipment is examined before it is sent to the customer. Regardless of that, you as a customer always have the right to complain about a damaged product within a reasonable time from the time the damage was discovered, but no later than 3 years from the time of purchase. Please note that the damaged product, as well as packaging, must be saved until the discussions between you and Caia has been solved.
In the event of a complaint, please contact our customer service. If the product is not in stock at the time of the complaint, or has been discontinued from our product range, we will contact you before further processing. Complaints are normally handled within 3-5 working days from the time we receive your report. In the event of an approved complaint, the amount for your order will be refunded within 30 days.
BEST-BEFORE DATE AND ALLERGIC REACTION
Caia would like to draw your attention to the shelf life of the products which may vary depending on how you store and use them. On most of Caia’s products, a special symbol is indicated, which indicates the shelf life from the time the packaging is opened (6, 12 or 24 months). It is important that you as a customer take these symbols into account to ensure perfect use of our products and their properties.
You are responsible for reading through the list of ingredients for each product, which is presented in connection with our products on the website. This is to ensure that the product in question does not contain an ingredient you know you are sensitive to. Should an allergic reaction occur, please contact our customer service.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
When shopping on Caia’s website, Caia will save some of your personal data to, among other things, complete your purchase. Your personal integrity is important to us and we care to have good security when processing your personal data. You have the right to request access to your personal data and if any information is incorrect, you can have it changed or deleted. Caia’s website may include user generated content, for example social media publications. Caia takes no legal responsibility for such content and does not claim ownership in rights in such content. FRAUD
All frauds are reported to the authorities. Caia reserves the right to cancel a purchase if any suspicion of crime is raised.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
Swedish law applies for these terms and conditions and your use of this website. To the extent permitted by law, Swedish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction of any dispute arising from these terms and conditions and your use of the website.
Residents of EU countries other than Sweden may submit complaints online via the European Commission's platform for online dispute resolution, http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. In cases of dispute, Caia complies with decisions by the National Board of Consumer Disputes (ARN) or a corresponding dispute resolution body. Disputes concerning the interpretation or application of these terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law and regulations.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All intellectual property rights, such as trademarks and copyright, on this website and in the material published on this website belongs to Caia and its subsidiaries or licensors, and may not be used for commercial purposes without permission from the same. Any use of this website or its content, including copying or storing such content in whole or part thereof, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without the permission of Caia.
